Absolutely lovely experience, we went for afternoon tea and it was my wife's birthday, the live pianist played happy birthday and they bought her out a little cake 😍 The setting is glorious and the service is attentive without being overbearing. Highly recommend.

Lovely atmosphere, great service and amazing cakes. We had the hot drink and cake which is served before 1130am. After that I think it's afternoon tea. Lovely treat on a cold day.

These guys are cruising a bit on their reputation and exclusivity, but when i Bath... Fantastic food for afternoon tea, but be warned it's not a meal. Brilliant selection of drinks. Refined atmosphere. Service was attentive without being overbearing. There was live music from a trio on the afternoon of my visit. An absolute delight and luxury.

This was average to me. There wasn't a great deal of food and it wasn't incredible. For £100 for two people I expected more. The live music also didn't start for at least 30 mins after the seating which made the room feel really big and empty. I was disappointed after reading all the great reviews. I think you could find a better afternoon tea in Bath.

Absolutely superb, great service, ambience and food whilst enjoying the piano music in the background. A word of praise for the front of house manager James ,who is absolutely brilliant and ensured attentive service throughout. Will definitely visit again shortly and would highly recommend.

Many thanks to the person who had let us in the busy afternoon without a reservation. Personal recommendation is to go there after visiting the Roman Baths. Amazing experience inside the room. Lovely food, ambience & live music. Definitely should visit if you’re in Bath.

Great start to our visit to the City of Bath and the Roman Baths, we pre-booked for brunch at the Pump Room and enjoyed Eggs Benedict. Bonus whilst enjoying brunch was enjoying a talented pianist playing on stage in the beautiful faded elegant room. The service was absolutely outstanding so friendly and efficient I would highly recommend it.

We had high hopes, family members said it was great. Unfortunately, the Victoria Sponge was dry and old, the bun was very toasted, but cold. There was a woman speaking on video chat loudly, thank goodness a waiter asked her to be quiet.

A really lovely relaxing afternoon tea. The staff there are so professional and friendly or was easy to settle in and enjoy the beautiful surroundings and listen to the piano being played expertly for everyone there. The food was delicious and very generous and some changes we asked for were accommodated. Overall I'd really recommend booking to enjoy this if ever your visiting Bath. Many thanks

Had a really delightful brunch at The Pump Room. Eggs cooked to perfection and the tea was spot on! Staff super friendly and the pianist was wonderful. Loved all the Christmas songs. It felt really special dining at The Pump Room Restaurant, as it has an air of old time elegance. Inspired choice for a treat when in Bath!

From the security guard who found us seated waiting area, the manager who set our table up for the whole group, the waiter who specially labeled the tea and took pictures of our group, the senior waiter who kept our take away boxes until the end of the day an all around excellent display of customer service. Well-lit and gorgeous tearoom with vibrant chamber music throughout the afternoon tea. We didn’t book a table but there’s much available space, and we sat at the front near the musicians. What an amazing experience! food and service are also of high standard, and reasonably priced with savoury/sweet selection in the 10s

Really lovely experience, everybody gets served afternoon tea at the same time. The vegan and vegetarian options for the afternoon tea were very much appreciated. Only comment I would have would be to start the live music earlier as we are getting seated, it felt a bit eerily quiet before the live music started (which was also brilliant!)

This experience was the highlight of our stay in Bath, it truly went beyond our expectations! The service was superb, our server and the manager were very welcoming and extremely friendly, they ensured we were happy with everything, fantastic hospitality! The food was great and the live music was the cherry on top, I cannot praise this experience enough and will be recommending it to everyone, an absolute must! Thank you for the wonderful and fabulous experience!
